| Eligibility
A
scholarship recipient must be a student accepted and in good standing
at one of the law schools listed on the home page.
Applications
for scholarships will be considered upon receipt of a completed
application and demonstration of financial need.
Under
the terms of the scholarship, preference will be given to a son
or daughter of a member of Masonic Lodge 1098 in Lombard, Illinois,
former residents of the Masonic Children’s Home in La Grange, Illinois,
and those who come from Masonic families.
Scholarships
may be renewed upon verification of continued financial need and
continued good standing at the law school.

Selection
Process
The
Darleen J. and Robert L. Walker Scholarship Fund is an Illinois
not-for-profit corporation established pursuant to the Last Will
and Testament of Robert L. Walker. The current directors of the
corporation are James Reichardt, Wesley P. Newburg, Jr., and Louise
Shannon.
For
the 2009-2010 school year, the scholarship committee will meet and
review all completed applications received by June 30, 2009. Applicants
may be asked to participate in a face-to-face interview at the offices
of the Fund in Villa Park, Illinois.
Scholarship
winners will be notified no later than August 12.
